Shaysie is a mom to 3 and has done CrossFit since 2015 through all three pregnancies. It brings Shaysie great joy to help people, especially those in their pregnant or postpartum eras, grow in their functional fitness and confidence in movement. Outside of the gym — on the off chance of free time — Shaysie is typically watching a documentary. Her favorite movement is the Clean and Jerk.

Luis has been doing CrossFit for a total of 5 years. When not at the gym, he enjoys spending time with his family, getting outdoors for hiking and fishing, and staying indoors for video games. Luis’s favorite movements are Power Cleans and Overhead Squats.

Jon has been doing CrossFit since 2017, when Amanda talked him into trying a class. At that point, he was hooked! Jon has been a teacher of movement since the early nineties: he’s a theatre movement specialist, a professional fight director for live performance, and a life-long martial artist. When he’s not at the box you can find him traipsing around the woods, or on the water.

Jared has been doing CrossFit for about 5 years. When Jared is not at RSCF you can find him working on his podcast Ghostlore of Hawaii: Paranormal Paradise. His podcast covers all things paranormal happening in the Aloha State; from ghost stories, Hawaiian legends, true crime, and even aliens! In his spare time Jared enjoys cooking, hiking, swimming, and anything horror related! Jared’s favorite movements are the Clean, Wall Ball Shots, and Burpees.

Chris has been doing CrossFit for a total of 3 and a half years. When not at RSCF, he drives a truck for a living, tries to get better at golf, and spends time with wife and daughter. Chris’s favorite movement is the Clean and Jerk.

Andy has been doing CrossFit since 2018. He is a full time instructor at Chemeketa Community College, and also works at a local firm doing Civil Engineering. Andy has two amazing sons (Future Crossfitters!) and a fabulous wife. Outside of work and the gym, Andy likes to ride quads at the dunes and travel with his family. Andy’s favorite movements are the Dumbell Snatch and the Deadlift.

Amanda has been doing CrossFit since 2017 and has been a dance/movement teacher and choreographer for over two decades. When not in the gym, Amanda can be found thrift shopping, listening to audiobooks, eating pizza, or outside on a boat of some kind with her family. Amanda is a Certified Life Coach working toward her credentials with the International Coaching Federation. Her favorite movements are Burpees and Dumbell Snatches.
